What is the latest trend for mirror cabinets in bathroom design?
Current bathroom trends can be summarised under the keywords Minimalism, New Naturalness, Sensuality and Self Care. These styles enable planners, architects and end users to create an individual space that is based on needs. In this context, mirror cabinets prove to be adaptable quick-change artists in bathroom design. They meet not only the highest design requirements but also functional requirements, such as state-of-the-art lighting technologies and intelligent storage solutions.
What role does the mirror cabinet play today in the overall planning of bathroom lighting?
Light is a central element in bathroom design. The mirror cabinet, which combines light, mirrors and storage space, plays an essential role in this. It corresponds to the architectural concept of functional and design-oriented bathroom lighting that always puts people in the right light. Equipped with advanced lighting technologies, such as Tunable White (TW) and Dim2Warm (D2W), the mirror cabinet accomplishes a wide range of tasks – from putting on make-up and shaving to dressing. The flexible light temperatures influence the indoor atmosphere and increase the user's well-being. Well-thought-out use of mirror cabinets makes it possible to optimally combine architectural and functional requirements.
What tailor-made illuminated mirror do you recommend for a minimalist style that fits perfectly with the materiality, size, colour scheme and other accessories of a bathroom?
Suppose you are an interior designer and are renovating a loft-like building in an industrial look and want to integrate the building structure as much as possible into a durable concept. Then, the Schneider STYLE Line Superior LED would be an excellent illuminated mirror that leaves nothing to be desired. The design-oriented, round LED illuminated mirror has an elegant and restrained character that does not steal the show from anyone, but puts the focus on the people with its radiance of 3000 Kelvin or 4000 Kelvin. The Swiss-made light source shows its advantage particularly well in unprocessed construction concepts, such as exposed concrete or large, matt ceramic tiles for floors and walls. Combined with neutral shades, such as white, grey or beige, and simple fittings, plants and other decorative elements, the bathroom transforms into a soothing and functional space to experience.
