ServiceManufacturer’s warranty

To provide you, as a customer, with a special service beyond the statutory warranty of your seller, we grant a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty of a total of 5 years on all Schneider products.

The Schneider manufacturer’s warranty begins with the production of the product and ends five years thereafter (warranty period).

Within this voluntary warranty period, we will remedy proven product defects free of charge – at our discretion by repair, replacement of parts, or replacement delivery of the product. No further warranty services will be provided.

Claims under the manufacturer’s warranty must be made immediately after the occurrence of the damage, in writing and with a precise description of the defect, to the following address: W. Schneider+Co AG, Büntenrietstrasse 12, CH-8890 Flums.

We reserve the right to request damaged parts for inspection.

To assert the manufacturer’s warranty, a dated proof of purchase from a professional dealer is required.

Excluded from the manufacturer’s warranty are:

  • Electrical components and wear parts
  • Normal wear and tear, consumables, or accessories
  • Damage due to improper use, care, or installation
  • Product defects that only insignificantly affect value or usability
  • (Consequential) damage caused by non-compatible spare parts
  • Products already installed before purchase (e.g. display items)
  • Products or individual components independently altered, modified, or rebuilt by the customer or third parties

Work for subsequent or fine adjustment of bathroom furniture and mirror cabinets is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, as these are pre-adjusted at the factory for proper vertical installation.

Due to material-related structural and color variations, changes in shade may occur over time. Such color deviations are excluded as grounds for complaint.

Services provided under the manufacturer’s warranty do not interrupt or extend the warranty period. The manufacturer’s warranty has no effect on statutory warranty claims against your seller. Swiss law applies.
